The Monongalia County Extension Services and 4-H Center opened in December 2019 amongst the leisure campus of Mylan Park. Within its 45,000 square feet, the facility houses the Monongalia County Extension Service, a regional office for the West Virginia Department of Agriculture, the Monongalia County Fair Association, and the Community Food Initiative Center kitchen (to be completed in November 2021). Additionally, the Facility has about 34% of its square footage available for future growth.

The facility was conceived as a regional agricultural center boasting a covered, 15,000 sq. ft. outdoor showring/ multipurpose area, as well as an adjoining 4,260 sq. ft. indoor showroom/ multipurpose area.  Both spaces are available for reservation to community agencies, non-profit organizations, large/ small scale events, and the public/ private sector. A variety of accommodations can be made by contacting the
Venue Manager of the faRed_Brick_50cility.

In addition to the many Extension partners, the Monongalia County Extension Services and 4-H Center facility works closely with Mylan Park as we operate along side their vast, recreation and event campus. Next time you're in the area, stop by and check out your Extension Building!
